"Perhaps the best overall vegan restaurant in Indiana. This is the place where you will get not just vegan food, but actually pretty helpful food as well. That doesn't mean that the food isn't exciting by any means. The menu is a good size, and it is almost constantly changing. The dishes are creative, well prepared and plated, and filling. Really enjoy coming here." - Zach H. (Yelp)
"We have been fans since Dustie catered our 50th anniversary party. We then followed her to the Brown County Farmers Market. Now we so excited to have her within 10 minutes of our house. Everything we've ever had has been delicious." - JoMeyer (HappyCow)
"My friend and I have been twice. Both visits were so amazing. The vibe of the place is warm, comfortable, inviting, and the food is so very good. My friend is vegan and we come here for her, but I highly recommend as well!" - Judy S (Facebook)
"How amazing to have the sweetest little vegan cafe in Morgantown Indiana! My boyfriend and I shared a soup, entree, appetizer and dessert and it all was sooo goooood. I especially loved the whoopie pie." - Nicole S (Google)

About the Cafe
Vegan Tales
This business was born quite quickly in 2022 of a need for vegan cuisine in our small town. We provide prepared meals to Brown, Johnson, Monroe, and Hendricks Counties. We also have catering sized pick up, private parties at the cafe, and have a food trailer that we can bring to larger outdoor events.
